For all NEW (or almost new) Staff Reps

Please register for your first staff rep training!


Role and Function of the Staff Rep

Objectives:

  • To determine the role and function of the Staff Rep
  • To become familiar with the format and content of the provincial and local collective agreement
  • To identify where to go for help
  • To understand that union work is social justice work.

Participants should bring a laptop or personal device to access ministry websites and their CA.

STA Office (#201, 9030 King George Boulevard)
All sessions soft-start time is 8:30 however, we will start the session at 8:45 promptly, and finish at 3:00 pm
Lunch and snacks provided
